All-on-4

Replace missing teeth and enjoy eating again with our revolutionary All-on-4 dental implants.

  • Full set of teeth in one day
  • Only one surgical appointment
  • Low cost option

All-on-4 is a revolutionary technique which does away with the hassle of traditional dentures.

While dentistry had advanced to the degree that inconvenient removable dentures became obsolete by replacing them with implants in the upper or lower jaw to support a full set of fixed natural looking teeth, many implants were needed to achieve a satisfactory result.

The All on 4 solution does away with this fuss by utilising only four commercially pure titanium dental implants placed at specific locations and angles, allowing robust anchorage of a full set of teeth.

Goodbye dentures – hello All-on-4 dental implants

All-on-4 Dental implants effectively support not only the substitute teeth, but create replacement roots which connect with your jaw bone. As described, All-on-4 means you will only need four strategically placed implants to secure a full set of permanent teeth. In a lot of cases, with careful planning and the use of our on-site lab, the treatment can be completed in a day, immediately giving you back that healthy looking smile which looks and feels like the real thing.

All-on-4 benefits:

With All-on-4 dental implants, there will be no embarrassing moments involving teeth that fall out at awkward of times or loose dentures which necessitate being very careful about what you eat. This treatment is not only simply done, it will allow you to comfortably eat what you want, when you want, and with the full confidence that you have undergone the latest in state-of-the-art implant treatments, carried out by our London experts.

The other benefits that All-on-4 implants bring over using dentures are:

  • Does away with adhesives, creams, nightly removal and sore spots
  • An uncovered upper palate so that you can better taste and enjoy food
  • The permanent teeth replacements prevent sagging around the mouth which tends to make the face look older.

Frequently asked questions

How are All-on-4 dental implants different from conventional dentures?

Unlike conventional removable dentures, All-on-4 dental implants from our London dental clinic are a permanent set of teeth that are anchored into the jaw using just four strategically placed dental implants. As a result, they are more stable and provide a greater biting force than a traditional denture which means you can eat what you like without restriction.

Since they don’t press down on the gums like a regular denture, All-on-4 dental implants are also more comfortable and prevent sore patches in the mouth from developing. Furthermore, the presence of dental implants in the jaw puts a halt to any further bone loss helping to retain the shape of the jaw and ensuring your new teeth retain their fit in the years to come.

How do I know if I am a suitable candidate for All-on-4 dental implants?

Our team of London dentitsts use advanced 3-D imaging techniques to assess your suitability for All-on-4 dental implants. Detailed imagery enables us to evaluate the quality, density and quantity of bone in your jaw. Around 95% of patients with or without teeth qualify for the All-on-4 dental implant procedure. In addition, virtual surgery is performed before you are even sat in the dental chair so you will be able to see the results before your surgery. Each step of the treatment is meticulously planned with the utmost precision. Your smile couldn’t be in safer hands.

What is the recovery period for All-on-4 dental implants?

This is a relatively minor surgery that’s carried out under a local anaesthetic which means that the recovery period is fairly short. The sedation will take around 4 hours to work its way out of your system so you will need to bring a friend along with you that can drive you home. You may be in some discomfort and/or experience a degree of swelling which can normally be eased with over the counter painkillers such as Nurofen or Paracetamol. You will also have to switch to a liquid and soft food diet for a few days.

Following the procedure, a temporary denture is placed onto the implants and once the implants have integrated fully with the bone, you will return to our London dental practice to have your temporary denture removed and replaced with a permanent denture. This will be even more natural-looking than your temporary set of false teeth and may contain a titanium bar for added strength and durability.
